Vince Stanzione's Fixed Odds Trader Service
(Looking for Matt Shaw and the Fixed Odds Trader Service?)
Recently, small mailings have been sent out to UK traders containing a one page letter and a "Personal Invitation to join the most exciting and profitable trading service in the UK".
The mailings are from Vince Stanzione and invite recipients to join a "Fixed Odds Trader" service for £99 per month.
Usually, once a year, Vince sends out a mailing to his past customers inviting them to subscribe. This year, these special invitation cards were sent to people who didn't take up the first offer.
Each card has a specific access code which is used to activate a "FREE, no obligation trial" for 21 days.
The URL where you are sent to input the code is www.exclusive-invitation.com.
Interestingly, the WHOIS details for this domain show that the website is owned by the FT Group of Canterbury, Kent. Their email address is private@financial-trading.co.uk.
www.financial-trading.co.uk is actually owned by an individual - Michael Hein.
Michael has been previously been featured on BizOppsUK with a short review of his home study trading course - "Making Money From Financial Speculation".
In the past Stanzione and Hein have been known to work together - Hein has provided material for Stanzione to use in trading day workbooks. He has also written articles with Vince and Vince's assistant, Chelsea Baker.
Over the past couple of years, Vince has not been running as many seminars as he did in previous years.
Indeed, at the "Seven Secret Keys" seminar in 2004 - Vince's "retirement" seminar - he mentioned that he wouldn't be running as many courses as before.
[Side Note] For several years, Vince has been working on a television station with Chelsea called The Advert Channel.
The company behind the station, TV Commerce Holdings, floated on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in February 2005 at 6p a share.
The company's shares are currently worth around 0.38p (at 14th March 2008) and have traded between 0.38p and 8p since launch.

The setup of the site and sales letter suggest that Michael Hein actually runs the Fixed Odds Trader service, with Vince putting his name to it in order to give the impression that he is the man behind it.
This makes sense as Vince Stanzione is more well known than Michael Hein.
Of course, this is not really a problem but the literature does promote Vince's results, not Michael Hein's.
The service offered is basically a tipster service. For £99 a month, Vince (or Michael) will email you whenever he makes a trade and the idea is that you copy the trade exactly in your own account.
Bets are made through BetOnMarkets - an online fixed odds financial bookmaker.
In the literature, Vince provides "evidence" of his trading performance on BetOnMarkets. He claims to have turned £20,000 into £220,000 in just a couple of years and provides a graph as proof.
This performance, however, cannot be indepentantly verified. It is taken from a now defunct website known as Bullpig where BOM traders used to make their performance public and compete for monthly prizes. Stanzione's profile on the site showed an overall loss of 18% before it was shut down.
Of course, his performance may have vastly improved since then.
BetOnMarkets
You can learn more about BetOnMarkets on the following site:
http://www.FinancialSpreadTrading.co.uk/betonmarkets/
The problem with using BetOnMarkets are the odds you are given.
Examples of bets given by Stanzione/Hein show that you are often betting £2,000+ in order to try and win £3,000 i.e. you are risking £2,000 to try and make a £1,000 profit.
This means that, at these prices, for every bet you lose you need to win 2 bets just to break even.
If the bet loses, you lose the entire £2,000.
Of course, you can sell your bet early but the price you will get for it will be very low.
Trial Period
You can test the system with zero risk - the Fixed Odds Trader service comes with a 21 day trial. If you find you do not like the service you can cancel and not be charged.
If you profit, you can continue to pay the membership fee and use the service.
Furthermore, you can get a virtual account from BetOnMarkets to test the tips without risking any money, see the link below for details.
If you are in any doubt, email Vince or Michael and ask for a 1 year performance report. If the service is as good as the sales letter suggests they will be happy to provide it.
